Registration is now open for the 16th International Pro-Am Champions' Ball 2023!
The Congress Hall of the World Trade Center Moscow on April 22- 23 will traditionally open its doors to the participants and guests of the majestic Pro Am - Champions' Ball 2023 couples dance competition.
For the first time Champions' Ball was held on April 13, 2008 at the World Trade Center Congress Hall Moscow and initiated the conduct of the first Pro Am tournaments in Russia. The event left a lasting impression on competitors, guests and spectators. Since then, it was decided to hold the Champions' Ball annually inviting the best couples from all over the world to the parquet.
The name "Champions' Ball" was not chosen by chance - the panel of judges for this tournament is traditionally represented only by the National Champions and multiple World and European Champions.
All previous participants of Champions' Ball are convinced that the effect and benefit of their participation can be compared with ten regular tournaments and it cannot be compared in emotions and intensity with any other similar event. Champions' Ball motivates future participants to develop and strive to become one of the best pairs in the world as their performance will allow them to write their names in the history of this prestigious competition.
The Champions' Ball is one of the most striking events of the Pro Am world and it managed to capture the hearts of many dance fans with its stunning sets, special effects and live music. Performing to the sound of orchestral music is always a special treat for the competitors and an unforgettable show for the audience.
Alexander Melnikov, a 13-time champion of Russia and USSR in ballroom dancing shared his impressions of the Champions' Ball tournament: "I have only two favorite tournaments - Moscow Ball and Champions' Ball. I remember how Champions' Ball was held at the, the best dance couples from around the world and the champions of their countries were invited there. The organisation of the tournaments was always at the highest level. Last year on the first day I competed in Champions' Ball, as a judge, which is a very difficult task, because the responsibility is enormous. The next day, I was just watching and enjoying the tournament itself. For me, the Champions' Ball is like a favourite play in my favourite theatre, where you relax both physically and spiritually".
Every year spectators come not only to support their favourite competitors in the Pro Am Tournament but also to see with their own eyes the world dance stars, who are the traditional guests of the Champions’ Ball.
An innovation of this year will be the 'Rising Stars' competition, where competitors who have never taken part in the final part of the Champions’ Ball will compete. This will give contestants the chance to show their talent and prove that they can compete on equal terms with the best couples in the world.

As is the tradition of this tournament, the best teachers will share the prize money in the Top Teacher category.
